Job Description

Our client is a globally recognised business that supply retail equipment across the logistics and retail industries. They are now looking for a Payroll Assistant to come and join their team on a full/part time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years’ experience in Payroll. This role would best suit someone who is accurate and has a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate timesheet information and import into payroll systems
  • Process payroll data on weekly and monthly basis
  • Administer SMP, SPP, SSP schemes
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Update payroll systems
  • Provide accurate and timely reports
  • Assist with the completion of request forms from HMRC/DWPS/Job Centre Plus etc.
  • Support admin of pension systems and payments

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
