Job Description

Our client is a well-established and family run business based in Leamington Spa that offers 40 years’ experience within their niche field. This business is a real success story and due to impressive growth, they are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Business Development Executive to join their close knit, collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and out-going individual who has proven success working in a Sales/Business Development role. The successful candidate will be confident, proactive and creative in exploring new business opportunities and will always offer support to clients by listening to their challenges/obstacles. Responsibilities:

  • You will identify and qualify new business opportunities by engaging with all prospective clients in a professional and engaging way
  • Nurture leads to secure new business with potential clients
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the services available and inform clients of the these services in a clear and influential manner
  • Liaise with the internal project management team to prepare proposals and ultimately secure new business
  • Represent the Company at networking events, conferences, exhibitions and trade shows
  • Develop relationships with new clients to understand their on-going requirements to grow and cultivate accounts

Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Languages or experience working in the Translations industry would be highly advantageous
  • Previous experience in a Business Development/Sales role selling outsourced services is essential
  • Proficient at using LinkedIn and social platforms for business development and sales
  • Highly organised when managing own workload with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively with a calm approach
  • Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • Must have an excellent attention to detail, particularly in written English
  • The ability to work as part of a close team, while at the same time being able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Computer Literate – confident user of MS (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
