Job Description

Our client is a well-established, manufacturing business who have been successfully operating from Weston-On-The-Green. The machinist will be part of the silks creation team and will be responsible for completing the required items efficiently and effectively as identified by the works order job sheets and according to the works instructions. They will check goods at all stages of production, to maintain quality and to complete quality records in line with the Company’s Quality Management System. Main Responsibilities:

To produce and quality check products as specified.
To appropriately operate and maintain the machinery in use.
To take a responsibility for your own time management.
To ensure performance targets are met.
To be willing to learn new skills.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

Previous Sewing experience.
Willingness to learn and attention to detail.
Communication and teamwork driven.
Strong ability to manage time and expectation.
Positive, can-do attitude and a team player ethos.

Desirable:

Exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing industry/business
