Job Description

Our client is a successful and commercially diverse manufacturing business who have a portfolio of brands supplying a wide range of business and consumer products to their customer base. Their customers vary from schools to large commercial businesses and very well-known e-commerce retailers. Due to a pending maternity leave, the business is looking to recruit an analytically minded Reward Analyst to cover on a 12-month FTC to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Reward professional with an analytical bias, who is used to data processing and validation using both excel spreadsheets and the internal HRIS for a multi-site organisation. The business is looking to implement a new HRIS across the entire business, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be involved in the system implementation and gain exposure to this from a reward standpoint. The role will also be involved in benchmarking exercises for their UK business, alongside supporting with gender pay gap analysis, and the administration of incentive plans. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player and will have worked within a medium to large size organisation with sites overseas (ideally with EMEA exposure).

Please note: This role operates a hybrid working model (3 days office based from Aylesbury and 2 days home based). Candidates looking to work 4 days a week will also be considered for this role. The core working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Reward Analyst key responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Reward for all stakeholders.
  • Supporting the annual compensation/benefit cycles. This includes annual salary review process, bonus pay management, and other compensation, benefit or HRIS development projects.
  • Provide advice and support on all matters of Reward across EMEA including data, analytics and reporting.
  • Responsible for the central collation of EMEA HR data, being the first point of contact for reporting queries and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Lead on researching and gathering of internal/external salary data to provide job benchmarks, analysis and market review. Provide recommendations to managers within the UK business.
  • Proactively analyse compensation by function, geography and grade in order to advise and inform the business.
  • Review and develop Reward solutions that attract, motivate and retain Talent.
  • Interact regularly with the HR team and management to address employee compensation matters and to develop and suggest effective solutions.
  • Support with Gender Pay Gap analysis and process.
  • Support the ongoing administration for the Annual Incentive Plan, Sales Incentive Plan and Long-Term Incentive Plan for the business.
  • Liaise with and support the Global Compensation team on the design, implementation, administration and communication of global processes.
  • Analyse and support the development of EMEA Benefit programs.
  • Support the rollout of new or updated employee benefits, providing communication materials and other documentation as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Reward role within a medium-large organisation.
  • Ability to manage communication and stakeholder relationships in a matrix organisation structure.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential – ability to create VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and present data in a simple, logical format.
  • Experience working with one or more Market Pricing Systems such as HAY, Towers Watson, Mercer Benchmarking methodology with the ability to give advice around benchmarking.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience of using HRIS systems – SAP Success Factors exposure is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with an acute eye for detail.
  • Solution orientated, Proactive and results focused.
  • Proven ability to deal with changing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidential data with the highest level of integrity.
