Job Description

Our client is a thriving family run business which has been successfully operating for over 50 years, based in Bicester. They are a well-established manufacturer in their field and due to continued expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of a professional and accurate Production Technician to join their family-feel team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to manage manual work and is prepared to be physically active for most of the day.

Main responsibilities:

  • The correct loading of media sterilisers and setting of cycle parameters
  • The addition of sterile supplements to batches of media
  • Setting up of pouring equipment
  • Observing cycle progress to maintain product quality
  • Picking of product to fulfil customer orders
  • Careful visual inspection of the product to maintain high quality standards
  • Correct and consistent application of all layers of primary packing
  • Accurate and careful completion of all documentation to maintain traceability
  • Observation of and adherence to all safety procedures
  • Cleaning of production equipment and production area
  • Assisting with other duties, eg. product printing and environmental monitoring

  • Show manual dexterity
  • Show accuracy and have an eye for detail
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes
  • Previous experience in a Clean Room or “clean” production environment would be advantageous
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • An enthusiastic and energetic “can-do” nature.
