Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Kineton who have been operating successfully for over 30 years. The business is now looking to recruit a highly capable and reliable Production Operative to become part of their team. Main responsibilities:

  • To ensure that jobs are completed on time & as per the production plan.
  • To ensure that operations are carried out as specified on the job cards & that all materials are accurately identified, checked, weighed, loaded, decanted & labelled.
  • To conduct testing on manufactured product to ensure it meets the required specification and report inaccuracies.
  • To provide cover in either production or despatch departments as and when required.
  • To ensure goods are packed and labelled correctly and make all relevant checks.
  • To always maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas are kept clean and free from obstruction.
  • Moving and recording of stock deliveries.
  • Working to agreed targets and timescales.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience working in production.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally.
  • Good IT skills and confident using any computer equipment
  • Analytical and logical problem solving.
  • Be ambitious and goal orientated
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An enthusiastic and energetic “can-do” nature.

Desirable:

  • Experience within Machinery or Welding
  • Experience using a Forklift (Reach or Counterbalance)
