Job Description

Our client is a pioneering and globally recognised automotive technology and aftermarket business based in Warwick. Due to continued growth and the implementation of their upgraded SAP ERP system, they are now looking to acquire the services of a highly analytical Pricing Data Analyst to join them on an initial 10-month fixed term contract. This ideal candidate will be an experienced analyst with exposure working in a commercial business who has demonstrable experience working with large data sets. Your MS Excel/MS Access skills will be advanced, and you will ideally have VBA and/or SQL experience. Our client needs someone who is confident handling large data sets so they can hit the ground running on commencement and start adding valuable support to the busy team. Please note: This position is a 10 month, fixed-term contract, to commence ASAP. The role offers hybrid working (3 days office based from Warwick and 2 days home based).

Main Responsibilities:

Detailed analysis of multiple large data sets
Perform a variety of analysis to include high level reporting
Specific pricing analysis
Using Spreadsheet modelling
Understand the wider strategic goals, and work to achieving these by aiming to make a difference with proactive, effective data analysis and reports on findings and results
Regular use of MS Excel and MS Access
Use of their ERP SAP system

Key Skills and Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial, analytical role
Advanced user of the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel & Access)
VBA (Visual Basic) experience
SQL experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of SAP
Strong attention to detail
Commercial business acumen
Ability to work with and confidently build trust with key stakeholders
