Job Description

Our client is a pioneering and globally recognised automotive manufacturer and parts supplier, based in Warwickshire. Due to continued investment, they are now looking to acquire the services of a knowledgeable and experienced Pricing and Market Data Analyst to support them on a Fixed Term Contract basis (likely 6-9 months in duration) to oversee their competitive pricing infrastructure. This position includes developing and managing the global pricing rules and competitor data analysis. The successful candidate will possess an in depth understanding of pricing and data analytics, using pricing software, and will have previous experience in a similar role. Main Responsibilities:

  • Use pricing analytics to identify key regional margin growth opportunities.
  • Develop competitor analytics in Price (fx).
  • Monthly reporting of pricing performance.
  • Monitor global net floor prices & corridors on sensitive original equipment.
  • Maintain market data portal to include production data, vehicle in operation data and Application.
  • Create, maintain and develop the information sharing platform for all competitor market data.
  • Monitor the global market data sources proactively.
  • Day to day management of the Pricing software.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a commercially driven environment, ideally within a business with a wider global team/footprint.
  • Experience in using B2B Pricing software is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and data analytics software.
  • Ability to analyse data, produce reliable reports and forecast accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Driven, passionate and a strategic thinker by nature.
  • Educated to degree/diploma level in Statistics, Economics, Marketing or Business Management is desirable.
  • An understanding of automotive market drivers, trends, pricing strategy concepts and impact on Financial results within an Aftermarket environment is desirable, but not essential.

Additional Information:

  • Flexible start times (10am-4pm) core working hours, and some opportunities to work remotely, 3 days a week in the office (Hybrid working).
