Job Description

Our client is a successful and reputable world-leading franchise organisation who offer professional assistance across different services. Due to team expansion, they are looking to acquire the services of a PR and Social Media Executive to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for the day to day running of two B2B national brand outputs, including all social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in PR or Social Media Marketing.

PR and Social Media Executive main responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager to ensure the delivery of digital communication strategies.
  • Take ownership of the planning, delivery and results of social media and PR output.
  • Grow the social media channels and enhance engagement.
  • Increase lead generation from social and PR channels.
  • Create national PR and social media calendars.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of social media content campaigns.
  • Create national and local press releases.
  • ‘Sell in’ all press releases (local and national).
  • Build positive impressions for both brands.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the press and relevant trade bodies.

Key skills & experience

  • 2 years experience in PR or Social Media Marketing (B2B).
  • Demonstrable experience as a Communications, PR or Social Media Executive.
  • Degree or diploma in PR or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience in managing and developing content for social media channels.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Creative, with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Collate and analyse social media campaigns.
  • Positive, self-starter, ambitious, resilient, solutions-focused with a desire to work in communications.

Additional information

  • Working Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (40 hours) 30-minute lunch break.
