Job Description

Our client is a globally recognised business that supply retail equipment across the logistics and retail industries. They are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to come and join their team on a full/part time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Payroll professional. This role would best suit someone who is accurate and has a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day administration of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Managing Payroll inbox
  • Support the Accounts Department
  • Administer HMRC RTI submissions
  • Submit all HMRC requirements
  • Administer SMP, SPP, SSP, salary sacrifice, court orders, childcare vouchers and other payroll deductions
  • Process benefits
  • Carry out payroll reconciliations and analysis
  • Day to day management of the team
  • Manage system updates

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in processing multi-site, weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
  • Knowledge of current payroll legislation
  • Confident using payroll software
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good numeracy skills
