Job Description

Our client is a well-established, multinational manufacturing business who provide life-enhancing equipment which positively impacts the lives of many. The material handler will be part of the sling creation team and will be responsible for cutting components for assembly by the seamstress team and quality assuring all items are produced at the highest possible standard. Main Responsibilities:

  • Cut material via whatever means available as per production plan and in accordance to the applicable pattern
  • To complete quality documentation on time, in full and ensure fully eligible.
  • Through training, be supportive in developing cross functional skills to enable manufacturing flexibility
  • Support company safety program to reduce safety incidents within the operation
  • Perform in process inspections according to SOP highlighting deviations in quality to the line manager.
  • To adhere always to the company handbook and code of conduct when working on behalf of C&I.
  • To ensure start times, break times and home times are adhered to
  • To support the company with overtime support request where possible
  • To promote a positive attitude at all times
  • To produce products as specified on the job sheet
  • Whilst the above represents a summary of key tasks in the role, management expect that other related or unrelated tasks will be performed when required.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Sewing experience is desirable
  • Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
