Job Description

Our client is an established event and exhibition business based in Coventry that specialises in the Learning, Healthcare, Technology and Veterinary sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Event Manager to work in their close-knit team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with one of the fastest-growing exhibition companies in Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience in the events and exhibition sector and will have worked at a similar managerial level. Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the team’s strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure that all exhibitor strategies are delivered, monitored and analysed.
  • Ensuring credit control collects funds in a timely fashion and before each show opens.
  • Build and maintain an accurate stand and sponsorship ledger.
  • Provide a monthly report and forecast on show revenues, contribution, manpower and actions that are being taken for the shows to achieve budget.
  • Day to day management of the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives for all staff.
  • Ensure the operational strategy is being delivered efficiently.
  • Personally manage key industry partnerships.
  • Develop strategies including vertical and horizontal activity.
  • Ensure the sales plan is being delivered and all activity targets are being met.
  • Ensure a constant high-quality delivery for all prospects, exhibitors and partner communications.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in events/exhibitions is essential.
  • Strong team and personal management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A natural team leader and motivator.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter mentality.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management.

Additional information:

  • Working Hours are 9 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday (40 hours) 30 minutes lunch break, 2 days a week working from home.
