Job Description

Our client is a well-established and reputable company based in Oxford. They work with organisations to help improve teamwork, collaboration, develop inspirational leaders and solve complex people challenges. Following an internal restructure and an exciting period of growth, they are looking for a motivated and proactive Account Manager to join their close knit, friendly team. The main purpose of this role is to generate, close and facilitate sales opportunities across the business’ established, yet growing client portfolio. Main Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the Key Account Director for the division, to drive sales revenue.
  • Develop and grow the existing portfolio of clients within the targeted sector to meet set goals.
  • Create and manage pipeline of leads/quotes/prospects by monitoring and recording client activity accurately and consistently.
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to support with tactical campaigns and provide support/follow-up to relevant activities.
  • Generate appointments to engage with active clients and develop re-engagement plans for lapsed clients.
  • Use internal databases to analyse information and create action plans to maximise on sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the CRM database is up to date and maintained to a high standard.
  • Identify missed opportunities and offer suggestions to contribute towards sales growth in this territory.
  • Carry out other such duties as may reasonably be required, commensurate with the grade of this post.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience working within B2B Sales is essential.
  • Successful track record of achieving targets.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to positively influence and build effective relationships.
  • Proficient with computer systems and MS packages, such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Experience using CRM databases.
  • Interest in psychology, human behaviour, personality profiling etc.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full time, permanent role (37.5 per week) offering flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
