Job Description

Our client is an established family run company based just outside of Stratford-Upon-Avon. They are a customer driven organisation who provide high quality products to the landscaping and construction industries. Due to impressive growth, they are now looking to acquire the services of an Account Executive to join their team. The purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service and sales support to their clients. This role would best suit a customer centric, driven individual who is a natural ‘people person’ and who enjoys building relationships both internally with colleagues, and externally with customers. In return, you will work for a friendly, energetic and social team, who enjoy spending time together outside of the office, in addition to supporting each other to develop internally within the business.

Account Executive main responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and sales support to customers in a set region.
  • Provide quotes for projects and process sales orders on the internal database.
  • Supporting the regional BDM to grow business within an area and to provide account management for that area.
  • Deal with any customer enquiries over the phone.
  • Following up on sales leads and quotes.
  • Assist in planning of deliveries and booking in deliveries with carriers and transport companies.
  • Provide advice on products and the best solution for customers.
  • Market research to keep an eye on competitors and market trends.
  • Assist with training days and other events as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to positively influence and build effective relationships.
  • Personable approach with a good telephone manner.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Meticulous approach and a high level of accuracy, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Additional Information:

  • This is a full time, permanent position and the hours of work are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
