JOBSEEKER PROFILES - JULY 2019

The following jobseeker profiles represent a small selection of the thousands of people that we currently have registered for work in Business Support roles. Candidate 62661 (Management Accountant)

  • A highly impressive AAT qualified and part-qualified ACA candidate.
  • Currently working in a contract position as a Management Accountant, this contract is due to end in August 2019.
  • The candidate has worked in both practice and industry for four years in and whilst they enjoyed it and gained a great deal, they realised that they wanted a move into industry. This came in the shape of a role at a motorsport business in Oxfordshire.
  • Skills include; Fixed asset reporting, month end reporting, completion and submission of Tax and VAT, cashflow forecasting, coaching and mentoring of junior team members, handling of numerous currencies (Euro, US, Canadian and Australian Dollars), working on both sides of audit processes, computer literate and competent in Sage, Quickbooks, and Xero
  • Short notice period and salary expectation is a minimum of £35,000pa.
 

Candidate 61785 (Accounts Assistant)

  • The candidate is an amiable and outgoing individual.
  • Nearly four years in large financial services companies as well as smaller businesses, working at pace with high volumes.
  • This candidate is well suited to finance roles as they are very organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Candidate is now looking for a slight change in environment and is hoping a slightly smaller team would enable them to learn more, rather than working in larger teams as they have until now.
  • They hope to complement existing experience by gaining the AAT qualification.
  • The candidate is very comfortable looking after ledgers and payment allocations (Further detail can be found on CV).
  • This candidate is on a one month notice period and their salary expectation is £24,000.
 

Candidate 51801(Finance Assistant)

  • A reliable and charismatic candidate, who is looking to make a move into a finance position to complement ongoing AAT studies undertaken and funded independently.
  • The candidate is looking to build upon the work that they have been doing in their own time towards AAT qualification (Approaching the end of level 3).
  • Candidate left school and moved straight into retail, where they have forged a good career until now.
  • Candidate accepts that a new position would need to be at an entry-level and is confident that they will impress, given the opportunity.
  • Notice period is 4 weeks and they are looking for a salary of £22,000.
 

Candidate 62841 (Assistant Accountant)

  • A fully AAT qualified candidate looking for a step up from their current role.
  • Reason for looking to move is that they feel that they would like to expose themselves to a little bit more responsibility, which they hope will include some more involvement with accounting and learning more about management accounts and reporting.
  • Has worked for some of the Oxfordshire’s largest employers, where they have needed to work with pace and accuracy.
  • Skills include multi-currency bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, royalty reporting, purchase ledger, sales ledger, supervising others, banking, dealing with suppliers and assisting with month end procedures.
  • Notice period is just one month and salary expectation is £29,000pa.
