Our client is a leading supplier of cleaning and hygiene products across the UK and Ireland and have significant plans for growth over the next 5 years. The business is now looking to recruit an experienced Head of New Business to join the company, to enable them to embark on their growth plans.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a New Business/Business Development Manager within their sector, selling commercial cleaning/hygiene/chemical products (or similar consumables) and enjoy working in a proactive, autonomous style using their own initiative to develop new relationships and drive results. The company sells it’s products via distributors, so you will need to be used to building distributor relationships with both existing partners, or new partners.
Please note: This is a home-based role with travel to client/customer sites (sometimes overnight stays will be necessary) so a car allowance will be included in the employment package, but you must have your own vehicle (or be prepared to purchase a car) for this role. As the role is UK-wide, you would ideally live within a central part of England, to enable reasonable commuting times to most parts of the country.
