Job Description

Our client is a well-established and award-winning company based in Warwick who offer business to business services to a dedicated customer base across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their team as an Optical Sales Executive. You will be responsible for managing and developing customer accounts by establishing strong relationships with existing and new customers. For the right candidate this could be a great opportunity to go into an expanding company where in return for your hard work you will have a great career platform to further develop and progress.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage & develop an assigned database of customers
  • Target inactive accounts and drive business forward
  • Being able to demonstrate the product characteristics & benefits
  • Suggestive sell and offer product recommendations
  • Meet monthly KPI targets and company objectives
  • Attend site visits, exhibitions, conferences and events nationally
  • Deal with inbound calls in addition to your buddy calls to existing customers
  • Establish strong relationships and build rapport
  • Complete administrative tasks and keep database updated at all times

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Sales or Customer Service experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working in the Optical industry is highly advantageous
  • Previous experience in achieving KPI’s is desirable
  • Professional & confident telephone manner
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and must be able to show initiative
  • Being capable of gaining product knowledge quickly
  • The ability to handle all levels of customer types
  • Be dependable, reliable and team spirited

Additional Information:

  • This is an office based role and the working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
  • You will be required to attend occasional trade shows & store visits
  • Own transport is essential
