Job Description

Our client is a hugely successful and award-winning company that develops high-performance software and hardware products for the entertainment, engineering, and life science industries. They are looking to acquire the services of an experienced Sales Administrator to join their dynamic team at their office in Yarnton. The purpose of this role is to manage the post-sales order processing and keep all customer records up to date via Salesforce. You will also assist with shipping and import documentation and support with invoicing and stock control when required. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced working environment where prioritisation of tasks and being highly organised in order to meet demand/deadlines is paramount.

Main responsibilities:

  • The main point of contact for the website online chat system which handles all sales requests
  • Accurate management of customer data in Salesforce
  • Processing orders through Salesforce
  • Oversee and process customer returns which have been escalated from the support team
  • Post-sale order processing
  • Providing customers with software licences
  • Assisting with shipping and imports
  • Administering equipment

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a busy Sales Administration role is essential (min 3 years)
  • Strong experience of working with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficient in data entry
  • Customer service experience and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good computer skills across MS Office
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP system
  • International shipping experience would be highly advantageous
