Job Description

Our client is an established B2B provider of marketing intelligence and data to a number of niche verticals across the world. Due to their current plans to expand their portfolio of services and venture into new markets, they are now looking to build an Internal Lead Generation/Sales team, to support further sales growth.

As part of this exciting venture, they would like to recruit an experienced B2B Senior Telemarketer/Lead Generation specialist, who can work with the existing Marketing Director and CRM Manager, to build and then oversee a successful inbound lead generation team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in B2B lead-gen/telemarketing and be able to help to build processes, workflows and then the team itself! This role would suit an ambitious self-starter with good general commercial acumen, who either already has prior team management experience, or is looking for their first role in management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the marketing team, build best practice, workflows and processes for the new inbound lead-gen team.
  • Build a team of B2B lead generation representatives with the skills and expertise to work across a global market place (inc multiple languages).
  • Working hands-on to convert and generate leads as well as identify, qualify and nurture business relationships.
  • Record all activity on the CRM (MS Dynamics), maintaining detailed records of all activity and conversations.
  • Book well qualified appointments for the Business Development Managers.
  • Research into targeted accounts, gather insights, key decision maker contacts and other useful information prior to prospecting.
  • Work closely across departments to accelerate the sales cycle and extend reach into target accounts.
  • Become product expert on full range of services.
  • Create a customer-first experience that extends to all interactions.

Skills/experience required:

  • Previous B2B lead generation expertise (inbound/outbound calling), with ideally some supervisory or management responsibility.
  • Professional and engaging telephone manner, able to build rapport and influence decision-making.
  • Good understanding of best practice in B2B lead generation activities, able to assist with building processes, putting KPI’s together and creating the department.
  • Further language skills would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Experience of CRM systems and good all-round IT systems skills.
