Our office is based in Banbury, and we recruit primarily across the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and surrounding areas. Our business is growing, and we have experienced an increased demand for our services over the past few months. We are now looking to recruit an experienced, tenacious, and commercially astute Senior Recruitment Consultant to manage our Marketing desk. This is an extremely busy desk which is continuing to grow, allowing the right candidate to truly hit the ground running and start earning commission from the outset. The roles you will recruit on this desk vary, but will cover Marketing Managers, Digital/SEO specialists and PR/Media Management roles. Our ideal candidate will have proven recruitment experience working in a fast paced, dynamic and targeted recruitment agency environment. You will have a proven ability to build strong relationships and a prior, demonstrable billing history.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview (face-to-face and over the phone) and register new jobseekers and add their details to our CRM including all the related administration around CVs, registration forms, ID etc
  • Take briefs for permanent, temporary, and interim contract vacancies from existing and new clients.
  • Book visits to meet clients face-to-face in order to continue or start productive partnerships.
  • Respond to client’s requirements with urgency and speed in order to set yourself apart from your competitors.
  • Select and accurately match jobseekers to appropriate live vacancies, arrange interviews and share feedback with both parties.
  • Keep abreast with all recruitment legislation.
  • Working with a vast number of companies to include an existing, regular client base.
  • Proactive development of your own ‘new business’ to generate new opportunities, with a consultative approach.
  • Work alongside our business development specialist to help grow the number of clients using our services for Operations Recruitment across our key geographical areas.
  • Work towards realistic quarterly targets for revenue.
  • Manage and prioritise your workload with support and guidance from your Manager.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous recruitment agency experience is essential.
  • Previous experience handling white-collar, commercial jobs is essential.
  • Experience working with Marketing vacancies (and/or prevoious experince working in a marketing role before) is highly desirable.
  • You will be able to demonstrate consistent achievements in terms of billings, targets and client relationship development.
  • It would be highly advantageous that you have a driver’s license and car in order to visit clients all over the region (mileage paid).
  • A strong work ethic and dedication to providing an outstanding quality of service.
  • You must be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have a team player ethos and be willing to contribute in a collaborative way to the wider business.
