Our client has a great opening for a Works Manager who specialises in equipment for a number of industries.

Job Description:

Programme and manage all aspects of production including introduction of improved methods of production to allow operations to maximise delivery production efficiency and ensure best practices are communicated and adopted by the works team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all manufacturing equipment built
• Responsible for all manufacturing staff
• Converting engineering solutions to operational production needs.
  Responsible for engineering changes - related paperwork
• Implementation of process for efficient management and communication of
  Leading the implementation of industry Manufacturing standards throughout
  Representing the operations team at engineering and product development meetings
  Implement project schedules and plans in a timely effective manner
  Introduce, improve and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures throughout the factory
• Provide technical support for production staff
• Quality control
• Day to day programming of workshops
• Training programmes

Qualifications / Experience

• Manufacturing engineering qualification or comparable experience
• Management/supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment and ideally within the fabrication and precision engineering sectors

Other Skills

• Excellent PC skills
• Mechanical/Electrical knowledge
• Ability to interpret drawings essential
